Job Description: Site-Based Project ManagerLocation: Essex, UK (Ideally based in Essex)Project: New Hotel SchemeConstruction Type: Steel Works, Fit Out, InstallationDuration: 1 YearJob Value: £8.5MSalary: Up to £65,000 (Company Car or Allowance)Start Date: Mid-JanuaryResponsibilities:Oversee the entire project on-site, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion.
Manage logistics, Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure all work aligns with project specifications.Liaise with the office to ensure effective communication and project updates.Implement and maintain Health & Safety (H&S) and quality procedures on-site.
Manage a site team consisting of 1-2 site managers and various subcontractors.
Work closely with the visiting Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage project costs and budgets.Requirements:4+ years at Project Manager level
Based in Essex or local to Essex
Experience running a project from inception to completion
Experience working on projects valued around £5MCertificates:
5-day SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS CardExperience:Previous experience in hotel construction, particularly high-rise buildings (up to 5 storeys).
Strong project management skills with a focus on logistics and site operations.
