Job Summary

We are looking for a Shopper Executive who will be responsible for delivering superior customer experiences when engaging with our brands. These customer experiences are not limited to but include all elements of Range & Space in both the physical and digital store environments, management of Point of Sale (POS) delivery from concept design through to execution and supporting the omnichannel activation of brand campaigns within our retail partners. Working across the Deodorants and Homecare portfolio, the role encompasses some of our biggest brands, including Rexona, Dove, Lynx and Omo.

The Shopper Executive will be critical to developing shelf & layout recommendations for our retail partners, as well as ensuring our brand activations are delivered on time, in full and with impact. Reporting to the Shopper Marketing Lead, you will work closely with the Shopper Marketing Manager, Marketing and Customer Strategy and Planning (CSP) teams, as well as Customer Managers, to achieve brand & category objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and translate customer & shopper insights into actionable opportunities online & in-store.

  • As part of retailer yearly range review cycles, develop planograms for instore layouts & recommend online optimisations, utilising best practice and learnings from other markets.

  • Own Retailer assortment optimisation & space efficiency.

  • Optimise Unilever’s portfolio mix across each customer & category, aligned to category objectives.

  • End to end project management of POS, managing stock on hand & coordinating brand requirements, to ensure fulfilment on time & in full.

  • Support execution of shopper activation plans with the marketing teams.

  • Partner with the Customer Strategy and Planning Lead, Marketing and Customer Teams to ensure all elements of the shopper plan are aligned with the category objectives.

    What You Will Need to Succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of business experience, preferably cross-functional with Shopper Marketing, Brand Management, Category management and Customer facing responsibilities.

  • Customer and Retailer Understanding.

  • Standards of Leadership (Stakeholder Management; Lateral Influence without Authority, Ability to join the dots and show the big picture).

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a focus on POS management highly desirable.

  • Experience using Nielsen, Quantium and JDA/Blue Yonder is desired.

  • Experience within Consumer Goods industry preferrable .
