SharePoint and Power Platform Developer
- Permanent hybrid position based in Dublin 2
Reporting to our clients Business SW Development Lead, this is a permanent key role within our clients technology team which involves supporting and enhancing document management, knowledge management and other legal solutions:
- Designing, developing, testing and maintaining business applications which are heavily dependent on SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power platform and the MS365 stack.
- Migrating legacy applications to cloud based Microsoft architecture solutions, following best practices and standards.
- Collaborating with others to understand the requirements, design the solutions, implement the features, test the functionality and deploy the applications.
- Working with other members of the small team to improve software development practices and frameworks.

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions based on the Microsoft O365 stack.
- Software Development: Develop solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), SharePoint SPFx, Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Identity Platform, Adaptive Cards, Fluent UI Web Components, Fluid Framework, Microsoft Dataverse, and Visual Studio. Work within and improve existing development frameworks and standards.
- Solution Design: Design, develop and deploy robust solution architectures that align with user needs and business goals. Participate in the collection and analysis of data to support solution design, including working with business (when required) to understand solution requirements.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test processes and cases to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide support for existing systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Continually update technical knowledge and skills, and drive the adoption of best practices within the team.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning and management tasks as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 4 years + of experience in software development, including with low code/no code solutions and development frameworks (particularly workflow-based solutions).
- Experience in Microsoft O365 stack products is critical particularly SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React framework, and Word Web Add ins as well as experience with Power Platform, PowerShell (SharePoint PnP) to manage, maintain and enhance Sharepoint Online.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Azure functions and Azure services such as Key Vault, Azure Storage, Office Add-ins, Microsoft Syntex, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Identity Platform also an advantage.
- Experience with software development methodologies and best practices (including source code control)
- Experience in the legal domain or other professional services areas an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver high quality solutions within deadlines with the flexibility needed as part of a small team.
