About my clientMy client is a leading Financial Institution providing a broad range of services. This role sits within their Institutional and Corporate Banking division.They a highly coveted employer, with an excellent reputation in the market not just in terms of service provision, but in their high rates of staff retention, tenured leadership team, and strong growth plans.About the RoleSitting firmly within the Middle Office, this team handles invoice transactions for global corporate clients, ensuring timely settlements and escalating any non-receipts. It is a role that demands leadership, and a strong focus on risk management.Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Team Management: Ensure adequate staffing and workflow organisation, conduct review and appraisals, oversee staff development and succession planning.
• Settlement Processes: Oversee all settlement tasks and controls and ensure timely payments.
• Overdues Management: Implement escalation policies for overdue settlements.
• Program Analysis: Conduct reviews and reporting to identify issues and risks.
• Efficiency Initiatives: Drive and implement settlement efficiency improvements.
• Address and resolve client queries
• Reconciliations: Monitor and reconcile Suspense, Nostro and Control Accounts
• Risk Assessments: Maintain control plans and participate in risk reviews and action plans.
