Job Title: Service Advisor

Salary: €30 – €35kOverview:
Our client, a well-respected and customer-driven car dealership, is looking for a Service Advisor to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and enjoys delivering excellent service while identifying opportunities to upsell. Reporting to the Service Manager and working within a team of three, the Service Advisor will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers on arrival and deliver a warm, professional welcome
- Book vehicles in for servicing, maintenance, or repairs
- Act as a liaison between customers and the workshop, keeping clients updated throughout the service process
- Upsell additional parts, services, and maintenance packages when appropriate
- Ensure all administrative processes are followed accurately and efficiently
- Help maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a customer-facing role is essential – hospitality backgrounds are highly valued
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for upselling opportunities
- Comfortable dealing with a wide range of customer personalities
- Previous automotive experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided
