What’s the role?
We’re excited to expand our team with a Senior Video Ad Product Manager. In this role, you’ll help drive the strategy, development and execution of video ad products that generate impactful results.
You’ll take the lead on high-priority initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster strong partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external partners to create video solutions that not only align with business objectives but also deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
This role reports to the Video Product & Strategy Director and will contribute to the execution of the department’s strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate and deliver on a forward-thinking product vision and roadmap for video products across multiple platforms including web, app, CTV and social channels.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes and technology advancements to identify innovative opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with ad tech and video partners to identify new solutions, align with partner roadmaps and explore growth opportunities.
Oversee entire product lifecycles from discovery, go-to-market and continuous optimisation.
Leverage data and analytics to track product performance and identify areas for enhancements.
Experiment with formats, placements and delivery mechanisms to optimise for performance.
Balance user experience with client goals to create products that drive engagement and client outcomes.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate product performance, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Support sales, product teams and ad operations teams through training, product documentation and client-facing materials.
Be a thought leader and subject matter expert on video, influencing strategic decisions within and beyond the product team.
Lead by example, mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Who are you?
5+ years product management experience, preferably within a publisher, broadcaster or ad tech organisation.
Strong understanding of ad-servers, ad tech vendors, video players, sell-side and demand-side platforms, measurement vendors and order management booking systems.
Deep understanding of video ad formats, creative types, key video metrics, buy types and cost models.
Experience with the end-to-end booking and delivery process of digital media across both direct IO and programmatic transactions..
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable decisions.
Project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with product management tools such as Monday, Jira or similar.
Proficiency in Adobe, Tableau, Looker or similar
Hands-on experience with running video campaigns on social platforms like YouTube, Meta and TikTok.
Experience with ad-server and video player integrations (highly desirable).
