Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Vendor Manager for AXA Ireland.

Reporting to the Senior Service Integration Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing AXA Ireland contracts and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support strategic growth across various areas of expenditure, while ensuring the delivery of contracts as per agreements and managing contract risks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual SLAs and KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver committed supplier benefits and risk mitigations through strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage and document regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to processes and controls.
  • Mitigate risk by ensuring compliance with AXA policies, processes, and wider procurement/business strategies.
  • Oversee end-to-end processes, develop performance tracking, and build strong engagement with key functions/stakeholder groups.
  • Act as the key escalation point within AXA for vendors and manage long-term supplier relationships and strategy.
  • Demonstrate a vision for change, forecast future opportunities, and deliver change requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies for new projects and contract renewals.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management role, with experience of managing outsourced or strategic supplier relationships including the ability to identify and appropriately manage risks.
  • A relevant degree or qualification would be beneficial.
  • Experience in Vendor/Category Management and proven record of managing outsourced relationships.
  • Demonstrated successful operational and strategic development experience.
  • Experience of Print & Document Management services.
  • Effective communicator and stakeholder manager with excellent negotiation skills and developed commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements, and competent literary skills for supplier audits or Central Bank of Ireland inspections.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.
