The Opportunity:In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the Group’s indirect tax compliance, including liaising with advisors and internal accountants to ensure timely submission and payment of indirect tax liabilities.
- Advise the business on routine indirect tax queries.
- Assist in answering requests for information from tax authorities regarding indirect taxes.
- Participate in global projects and prepare necessary advice as directed by the Global Director of Tax.
- Research and evaluate the tax impact of current and proposed tax legislation.
- Prepare and maintain the internal compliance process documents for indirect tax.
- Partake in any ad-hoc tax tasks as required by the business, including exposure to other tax heads
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have relevant experience in tax in practice and/or a MNC.
- Are a CTA qualified tax professional (essential).
- Have an accountancy qualification (preferred – ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Are an excellent communicator with the ability to work with non-tax teams, external advisors and develop relationships at all levels of management.
