UCC wishes to appoint an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist / Practice Tutor for the BSc SLT. Reporting to the Head of Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences in the School of Clinical Therapies, the Regional Placement Facilitator / Practice Tutor will work closely with the Practice Education Coordinator for the BSc in Speech and Language Therapy. The role will include supporting students and practice educators before, during and after practice placement, including associated administrative, examining and instructional duties. 

Candidates must be CORU-registered SLTs. Experience in tutoring, teaching or clinical supervision is essential, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility.

Please note that Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.

Appointment may be made on the HSE Senior Speech & Language Therapist Salary Scale: €61,424 – €72,325 

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
