Role: Senior Site EngineerClient: International Residential DeveloperEssentials: Relevant construction or engineering qualification; 4+ years’ experience as a site engineer on large-scale residential developments in Ireland or the UK ; expertise in setting out using total station and GPS equipment; proficiency in AutoCAD, BCAR processes, and document control systems (ideally with Procore, Zutec);Location: West DublinSalary: Up to €75,000Package: Company car/car allowance, annual bonuses, pension, health insurance, annual salary reviews, life assurance and moreProgression: Join a reputable residential developer focused on delivering high-quality housing projects with excellent opportunities for professional growth.Overseeing: Technical and engineering tasks, quality control, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.Reporting to: Site Manager & Project ManagerOur client, a respected international developer, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team for a self-build project in West Dublin, consisting of 220 houses. This role is central to delivering high-quality construction, managing technical requirements, and ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders.
- Project Execution: Support the Site Manager/Project Manager in delivering the project scope efficiently from start to completion.
- Setting Out and Technical Oversight: Perform setting out tasks using total station and GPS equipment and manage technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
- AutoCAD and Documentation: Utilise AutoCAD to upload as-builts, assist with monthly valuations, and manage BCAR and Irish Water documentation submissions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control measures align with the project’s BCAR plan, delivering high standards of workmanship.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work collaboratively with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors to track progress, review valuations, and identify risks.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards, creating a safe working environment for all.
- Resource and Team Management: Foster team collaboration and effectively manage resources to meet project timelines and objectives.
