The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Systems & Safety Assurance Engineer, to join our National Systems Team. This position is available to be based in any of our Australian offices and you will be a part of the Systems Engineering on projects locally, but you will also support projects to fulfill the requirements of the KBR portfolio.

This role will require that you are a team player but are able assist in your area of expertise, establishing high levels of interaction with many different stakeholders will be a key attribute that you can bring to the team.

Who are you?

As the Systems & Safety Assurance Engineer (SESA) you will be required to have the following (or can address several criteria):

• Bachelor of Engineering

• Competence in Systems Engineering demonstrated by a range of experience, typically expected to be over a period of 10+ years

• Experience in leading engineering teams and planning SESA scope of work

• Experience in EN50126 and ISO15288

• SE Life-Cycle

• Requirements Development and Management

• Model Based Systems Engineering

• System Integration

• Verification & Validation

• Configuration Management

• RAM

• Ability to read and interpret Railway infrastructure Design

• DE model interpretation for SE review

• Understanding of contractor engagement and management for SE Safety

• Ability to chair safety stakeholder meetings

• Currently hold or are eligible for CPEng

Desirable experience includes:

• Postgraduate degree highly regarded

• DOORS NG expertise

• Understanding of TfNSW SE standards and its application to projects
