Job Description:
Who is 3M Personal Safety Div – The Personal Safety Division provide safety solutions that improve comfort while helping employers increase compliance, with personal protective equipment for everything from your eyes and head to hearing and respiratory system. Key objective of role:
-
Contribute to the achievement of national sales targets for 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD)
-
Grow 3M PSD market share and increase sales volume within sales territory
-
Achieve individual activity-based goals for the territory
-
Manage and update CRM (Salesforce) which includes opportunity pipeline and input of customer details and activities
-
Establishes, maintain and enhance business relationships with 3M Personal Safety Division distributors and end user accounts in allocated sales territory
-
Leverage management, marketing team & application engineers to improve business relationships, product specification with end user customers
-
Conduct product training sessions with end user customers and channel partners
-
upport and implement marketing programs
-
Develop and implement Territory Sales Plan & Individual Development Plan
Qualification
-
Minimum 4 – 6 years’ experience in Personal Safety field, or similar position in business operating in same industry
-
Establishes and manages excellent business relationships with both end users and distributors
-
Demonstrates business unit expertise of product lines, customer segments and their needs, divisional/branch functions, and competitive products, prices, and policies.
-
Experience with working in consultation with end user customers to provide the right product solution
-
Reports trends and competitive strategies to the business management team.

Experience in being a resource of technical knowledge for end user customers and distributors
-
Experienced in delivering technical product training
-
Uses key influencers strategically to increase sales
