Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. This role is critical in managing the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency, and enabling our sales team to focus on driving revenue. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to the sales department, assisting with data management, order processing, and assisting with administrative tasks that drive sales performance. This role is key in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the sales team and maintaining high standards of customer service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and presentations
  • Assist with organizing and preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate communication between sales teams and other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Support customer onboarding by helping to answer initial questions and prepare account setup information.
  • Monitor customer emails and respond to routine inquiries or forward to appropriate sales personnel.
  • Support the sales team with data entry, updates, and maintenance of customer records in the CRM.
  • Help coordinate events, such as trade shows or client meetings, including managing logistics and preparing promotional items.

Qualifications:

  • Experience

– Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth engineering environment.

  • Skills

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)– Proven experience with CRM tools (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, HubSpot) and a strong understanding of sales processes.– Strong analytical mindset with the ability to generate reports, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.– Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with electrical switchgear manufacturing or installation.
