Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.Our Specialisms, Advisory and Specialisms Business Unit continues to grow, with a specific growth demand within the Infrastructure sector (Aviation, Rail, Highways, Water, Power, Ports) where we have successfully secured positions with many high profile clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry.As a direct result of this growth, we are currently seeking a full time Senior Risk Manager to support in our business growth.You will be part of an exciting new team supporting us to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the wider global AECOM. Relies on advanced knowledge, within the scope of the position and often handles moderately complex tasks.Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Design and implement risk management frameworks
  • Oversee risk and opportunity management in major project or programme environments to enable achievement of project goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate risk management principles, methods, techniques, systems and toolkits; Risk modelling, qualitative risk assessments, quantitative risk management.
  • Facilitate collaboration with project stakeholder to ensure consistency and transparency in approach and data.
  • Manage high-performing staff / teams including carrying out performance management, undertaking resource planning and embedding a focus on continuous improvement and best-practice.
  • Facilitate and drive the delivery of risk workshops.
  • Formulate design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural, engineering or construction sectors.
  • Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of processes and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.

QualificationsReady to push the limits of what’s possible?Here’s what we’re looking for

  • Degree educated with 5-10 years risk management experience including evidence of delivery of major projects and / or programmes.
  • Experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • A strong and extensive experience in the application of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for cost and schedule to include techniques and tools, for example: @Risk and Primavera Risk Analysis (previously Pertmaster), including the analysis of complex logic-linked cost-loaded schedules.
  • Experience using Enterprise Risk Management tools, for example, Active Risk Manager (ARM), Predict! and Oracle PPM (P6R).
  • Experience in the delivery of risk throughout the project lifecycle including support of investment decisions and delivery/implementation phases.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions including: project management, change control, planning & scheduling, cost & commercial management and reporting.
