Dentsu delivers end-to-end experience transformation (EX) by integrating its services across Media, CXM and Creative, while its business transformation (BX) mindset pushes the boundaries of transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.We’re hiring for a Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst as part of Dentsu in Manchester.Purpose of the RoleThe Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst plays an active role in the newly centralized and specialised Revenue Assurance team. They will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of client financial data and linking it to operational and financial systems for appropriate revenue recognition. This role is also responsible to ensure client contract assurance is conducted according to the service line compliance framework and UK&I policies. This role works closely with the Commercial Finance/FP&A, Financial Control, Operational Finance and Client Services teams. The Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst will be expected to deputise for/assist the Revenue Assurance Manager in certain tasks. The role will assist in managing the day-to-day activities and deliverables of the junior Revenue Assurance analysts.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly/Regular reporting

  • Ensure timely & accurate month end reporting for the D2D (Projects based business) entity
  • Partner with the D2D project managers ensuring phasing is performed correctly and pipeline projects are being closely monitored. Assisting FP&A in producing monthly forecasts.
  • To assist with managing the Accrued and deferred Income balance sheet accounts.
  • To perform Time cost reporting for Mastercard (Bi-monthly)
  • To perform cashflows for Mastercard & Microsoft (Bi-annually)

Contract Maintenance and Revenue Assurance

  • Check that statements of work are compliant and assess for potential risks which contravene Dentsu policies and escalate any evident risks to Revenue Assurance Manager
  • Check that statements of work are agreed and signed before work is undertaken with a valid client purchase order
  • Support the development & maintenance of a contractual information database to support revenue recognition
  • Work with the Bookings Team to ensure timely and accurate booking of jobs and commission rates
  • Supporting RTR (Record to Report) and Financial Control Teams in adjustments required
  • Collects and analyses contractual information, FTE calculations and SOWs to validate or calculate the Retainer & PRIP fee entries required in the system (Media Ocean) and to update the FSA trackers.
  • Validates system entries against the Fee Share Agreements (FSA) for the clients in respective brands and resolves/investigates any discrepancies.
  • Prepares timely reports on system bookings VS forecast for FP&A/Commercial Finance to enable them to partner with the business to understand any variances & resolve where necessary.
  • Assists with and reviews Semarchy requests for amendments to client data to ensure any requested changes are valid and supported by the relevant supporting information.
  • Support the delivery of timely information for internal and external auditors
  • Support delivery of ad hoc tasks

Qualifications + Skills

  • Part to newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar finance role (min 3 years)
  • Some industry experience in client accounting and assurance processes is desirable.
  • Knowledge of MediaOcean or similar client job costing/media booking and accounting platforms
  • Ability to demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel and system skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, manage and prioritise multiple, conflicting deadlines under pressure and navigate effectively amidst ambiguity and change
  • Exhibit a problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic
  • Be a strong team player Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders, exhibiting relationship building capabilities and influencing collaborative outcomes
  • Possess a drive for continuous improvement and performance excellence in their area of responsibility
  • Able to display supervisory skills as will be required on occasions to deputise for the Revenue Assurance Manager
  • Able to educate and instil awareness across the business on revenue recognition principles
  • Able to understand the different kinds of revenue streams
