WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?You support the in-depth analysis, identification, characterization and quantification of protein-based molecules such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody fragments, fusion proteins and enzymes, by using liquid chromatography coupled to high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-MS).You support the in-depth analysis, identification, characterization and quantification of protein-based molecules such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody fragments, fusion proteins and enzymesYou design experiments together with your supervisor and plan and execute the work at experiment/task levelYou independently prepare buffers, solutions and samples and you set up the LC-MS instrumentYou work according to specific instructions and you are responsible for the quality control and first analysis of the data you generateYou document and analyze the data and write basic reports of your resultsYou will be involved in a variety of projects with industrial and academic partnersTHIS IS YOU…Knowledge of protein chemistryHands-on experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometryPassionate to work in the laboratoryCritical mindset and good sense for initiative and attention to quality and detailTeam player, client-minded, problem-solving mentality and flexible attitudeWell organized and managing daily activities independentlyCapable of multitasking in an environment with changing prioritiesGood communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken)Bachelor or Master degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical laboratory technology, biomedicine, pharmacy or equivalent qualification due to experiencePreferably a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an analytical lab environment where you have performed protein analysis on mass spectrometryWHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE?You will be part of a privately-owned and ambitious laboratory organization at the forefront of scientific evolutionsYou will join a dynamic team in an international environmentYou will receive an attractive salary in line with your responsibilities and experience
