This will also include a creche, retail unit, community facilities and basement carparking. • 5+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Developer / Main Contractor.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
• Experience on large construction projects
• Commercial / Residential construction experience or similar
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings

As Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Reporting to the Commercial Manager
• Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
• Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
• Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
• Reporting on budgets and variations
• Negotiate and agree subcontractors

What you’ll get in returnThe base salary for the position is negotiable but expected to be €90,000 – €100,000 + vehicle, fuel card, pension as well as huge group discounts on hotels, spa’s and golf courses across Ireland.
