Job Title: Senior QA Automation EngineerLocation: Cork (Hybrid Model – 3 days per week on-site)Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 per annumJob Description: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients’ software products. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to identify issues and ensure the robustness of their systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.Design and execute performance tests using JMeter.Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.Utilize JIRA for tracking bugs, test cases, and project management.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance.Continuously improve the automation framework and processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation.Proficiency in Python for test automation.Extensive experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.Strong knowledge of JMeter for performance testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Benefits:Healthcare.Dental plan.Pension.
