This Senior Python API Developer role is with a globally-established company in the financial space. They’re a massive organization that focuses on bonds, stocks and securities. With a great track record of outperforming their financial expectations these last few years, they’re currently looking at expanding across multiple Development roles – including this Python Developer role.They’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer who would join one of their newest teams with great engineers already in it – you would be creating a massive customer-facing platform from scratch by utilizing your expertise in Python, Azure, FastAPI and SQL, among other technologies. The application will need to be scalable and robust so you’re looking at a great technical challenge! The main reason they’re looking for a Senior profile is your experience – they’re looking for somebody who would be open to providing their inputs and vision on what the final product should look like – an absolutely massive opportunity to make an impact.The ideal candidate for this Senior Python Engineer role has more than 5 years of experience in developing robust and scalable applications, a strong background with Python and FastAPI (or Django/Flask/Sanic/Tornado, etc.) and experience with Azure (or AWS/GCP) and SQL Server a database.This is a remote-first opportunity based in Dublin. The company’s engineers go to the office twice a month.You will:

• Build an entirely new platform from scratch
• Collaborate with a team of strong engineers
• Grow within a well-established company

You have:

• 5+ years of experience with scalable and robust applications
• Experience with Python, FastAPI (or similar) and Azure (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and microservices
