Adecco Charity Sector are proud to be working in partnership with a proactive global charity to recruit a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis.Salary: circa £65,000k per annumPermanent, full timeHybrid and remote working availableAbout the roleThis is a truly exciting opportunity that will report into the Project Lead and will involve delivering a large complex transformation project on a global scale. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring effective development and delivery of the project plan.You will be a key driver in coordinating the preparation and setup of key governance groups including senior level stakeholders, identifying, and managing project risks and issues, engaging with the PMO, and ensuring all reporting requirements are effectively managed including dependencies and status updates.You will be instrumental in developing and effectively managing working relationships across the team and with external stakeholders aligning with the project lifecycle and ensuring a focus on continuous improvement.As the Senior Project Manager, you will take a lead in defining the future operating model and partnering with the wider project team to ensure the full scope of impacts are understood, associated activities are identified, prioritised, and delivered in line with the agreed plan.Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering large complex global transformation projects ideally within Charities, INGO’s, or the private sector.
  • Demonstrable experience and in-depth knowledge of programme and project practices and standards.
  • A proven ability to deliver projects on time/on budget, using project management processes and tools including risk management, benefits management, financial management and quality assurance.
  • A proven ability to apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and to work collaboratively to deliver of effective solutions to project related issues.
  • Highly developed organisational awareness and ability to understand any sensitivities within a complex multi-stakeholder structure; and think creatively and strategically to overcome obstacles to cooperation and progress.
  • Strong team leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and mobilise individuals outside their reporting line.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders on a global scale.
