We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the team as a Senior Project Engineer (Industrial Automation – Citect). The position offers flexibility in location, allowing you to be based in any metropolitan city in Australia.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and oversight of assigned projects in areas of design, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. You will lead the delivery of projects and services in accordance with agreed contracts, as well as mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Deploy integrated software and hardware solutions in critical, commercial and industrial projects across Australia
• Responsible for timely and accurate development of drawings and documentation on assigned projects/services
• Resolve customer requests related to product performance or system application
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment/software performance
• Understand and interpret project/service contract scope

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor of Engineering degree: Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• HMI and SCADA: Citect (must have), GeoSCADA, Wonderware System Platform
• +5 years exp in the delivery of Industrial Automation, Telemetry or Information Management System projects
• Be eligible for Membership of Engineers Australia in the grade of MIEAust, TIEAust or AIEAus
• Exceptional Technical Skills and Proficient in the following:

o Controllers (DCS, PLC, RTU): Triconex, Modicon M580, Quantum, Unity Pro
o Networking and communications: TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, OPC DA/UA
o IT: Server/Client configuration, Cybersecurity, cloud computing, VMWare/HyperV/ESXi
