The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive approach to deliver one or more products, capabilities, services and or enhancements in accordance with the product roadmap.You will work with Product Managers, Business Leaders, and cross-functional Scrum teams to deliver the product to the Client.You will lead a team of Product owners in which you will coach, mentor and guide them in undertaking their activities while also supporting the product life cycle of Baggage Management.On this role, you will manage the overall effort to deliver products, capabilities, services and enhancements using the strategic vision as well as established key performance indicators.Reporting to the Director of Baggage you will be a part of our Baggage Management business responsible for managing a team of Product owners delivering the roadmaps across the business.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Works with Architects and Product Managers to help define the solution and produce cost estimations.
  • Develops, owns and executes on a technical product development plan/product roadmap
  • Creates technical and feature roadmaps along with release planning, sprint goals, and grooming both technical and business functionality that meets multiple development projects.
  • Works closely with the product management team and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
  • Work with Internal and External customers to analyze the needs and align the product roadmaps to strategic goals.
  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, decodes technical requirements, refines the priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features) that guide the Agile development team.
  • Prioritizes and maintains the product backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in role of Product Owner for minimum of 4 years with proven hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Previous experience managing teams.
  • Experience as a product technical advisor to stakeholders including the customers, product manager, scrum master and development team.
  • Technical knowledge of complex systems and architecture concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Development Methodology and proven product ownership experience on Cloud platforms, (Azure) tools and methodologies.
  • Prior experience with or exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail; analytical and problem-solving skills; organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
