Senior Product Designer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our in-store consultation tool that allows sales agents inside jewellery stores to engage and sell jewellery to end consumers via a virtual sales experience.

 

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in working closely with a user research function in order to inform design decisions to deliver for mobile and web products. Experience in designing for SaaS and B2B2C mobile products is preferred. Has a proven track record in delivering components for and contributing to a design system.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to understand goals and align on creative solutions.
• Empathise with Users: Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable designs that address real-world needs.
• Iterate and Validate Designs: Plan and execute usability testing, incorporating user feedback to refine and perfect design solutions.
• Craft Intuitive Experiences: Develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications that are as functional as they are beautiful.
• Reimagine Industry Tools: Design features for our B2B2C consultation platform, enabling jewellery businesses to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
• Bring Designs to Life: Partner with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design assets and specifications.
• Create Consistency: Contribute to a cohesive design system that scales across all digital products.
• Measure Success: Use product analytics and research practices to track the effectiveness of your designs, ensuring they deliver tangible results.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with industry trends and incorporate best practices into your work to maintain innovation and excellence.Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to your design work.

 

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, with a focus on SaaS products.
• Proven experience conducting user research and using insights to drive design decisions.
• Experience planning and conducting usability testing for design validation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with an emphasis on marketplace products.
• Experience with luxury markets, Shopify, B2C marketplaces or POS tools is a bonus
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver components for and contribute to a design system.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
