The Procurement & Workplace Experience team are passionate about providing value to the REA Group. Whether this is through driving good service and commercial outcomes from our vendors or managing a best-in-class property management and travel and expenses program or, the team have work closely together to deliver consistent outcomes to the business. With an ever-increasing focus on Supplier Risk, this role will drive our Due Diligence program and adjacent Supplier controls.

What the role is all about

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead REA’s Due Diligence and Supplier Onboarding processes. As the Procurement Lead, you will oversee the meticulous review process, manage the issuance of Due Diligence surveys to third-party entities, and ensure alignment with REA’s risk management strategies. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the profile of Due Diligence procedures within the organization while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

Due Diligence Coordination:

  • Identify Suppliers posing risk triggers and initiate Due Diligence procedures.

  • Guide internal stakeholders through the Due Diligence process.

  • Assign Category Leads from various departments to facilitate Due Diligence tasks.

  • Monitor and track the progress of Due Diligence activities, furnishing timely reports to relevant stakeholders.

  • Serve as the liaison between Category Leads and Third-Party entities for additional information and clarification.

  • Host regular check-in meetings to ensure seamless progress and timely resolution of issues.

  • Escalate identified risks to pertinent internal parties and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the process.

OneTrust and New Supplier Onboarding:

  • Act as the system owner and expert for REA Group’s New Supplier Onboarding platform, OneTrust.

  • Facilitate internal stakeholders and business partners through the onboarding process.

  • Ensure efficient processing of requests, resolution of technical issues, and continuous improvement of workflows.

  • Coordinate the approval process for supplier transactional details, ensuring compliance with established protocols.

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Finance teams to ensure successful onboarding of suppliers, with seamless connectivity between OneTrust and Netsuite.

  • Conduct OneTrust training sessions for stakeholders and promptly address technical and integration issues.

Risk Officer for FaBS:

  • Provide support to the FaBS team in activities related to Business Continuity, including BIA & BCP reviews, Insurance reviews, and response exercises.

  • Monitor crisis communications, incident responses, and IT continuity frameworks.

  • Facilitate compliance with SOX Controls, Third-Party Audits, and other regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain OneTrust capability to support activities including Supplier Governance, ESG and AI reviews, supported with appropriate reporting.

  • Act as the Modern Slavery subject matter expert for OneTrust and Modern Slavery statement.

  • Collaborate with Procurement Analyst to develop and maintain robust controls for Suppliers, encompassing various regulatory areas and compliance measures.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity of REA’s procurement processes, mitigating risks, and fostering strategic supplier relationships while upholding the highest standards of compliance and governance.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experienced in Procurement Operations or Risk and Assurance.

  • Strong controls and reporting experience.

  • Bachelor in Business or Commerce or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage key stakeholders around the business

  • Work in or be flexible to work in an agile and fast paced environment.

  • Provide assistance and support to team members.
