We’re looking for a Senior People Consultant who will help us support the amazing talent we have within our growing EMEA market. Supporting predominantly Sales although spanning a variety of organisational functions, you’ll use your innovative mindset and passion to execute against the demands of a company that is scaling fast. As a part of our People function, you will guide and support our entry into this new location, working cross-functionally to support recruitment efforts, run people programs and processes, supporting managers and leaders and help ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.What you’ll do :
- Drive people processes and systems that support Pinterest across in EMEA.
- Serve as a local escalation point for HR questions and areas that require a regional point of view.
- Enable managers to be their best through direct, compassionate, and contextualized coaching.
- Be a trusted advisor to our EMEA managers as they work to shape engaged, high performing teams. Provide insights and data to guide decision making, and offer people solutions that make teams more effective.
- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions.
- Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide people solutions to make teams more effective.
- Drive local implementation of company-wide HR programs and initiatives, and collaborate across the People Team to review efficacy and adoption.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of local sentiment, feedback, and morale – problem solve and escalate as necessary.
- Collaboration with others (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, People Consultant and HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class initiatives.
- Review our people processes and help ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably HRBP/generalist experience specifically.
- 7-10 years experience overall.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees and managers.
- Demonstration of experience in a wide range of HR competencies with a history of working with international and regional partners.
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for strong collaboration with business partners and also Central Functions (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class initiatives.
- Experience in furthering diversity & representation in Technology, including experience in recruiting and on-boarding diverse teams.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we’re not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per half and needs to be in a commutable distance from our Dublin office.
