Job Description:
Join our team at Fluor, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional payroll services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to manage our payroll operations with precision and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Payroll Management: Handle all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of Australian Payroll tax and legislative requirements, with a specific focus on Superannuation compliance.
ADP Knowledge: Utilize ADP systems effectively; prior experience with ADP is advantageous.
Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all payroll activities, maintaining discretion in handling sensitive information.
Legislative Knowledge: Stay updated with Fair Work Act (FWA) and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) relevant legislation.
Statutory Payments: Manage end-of-month statutory payments, including Payroll Tax and Superannuation.
Team Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating initiative.
Query Resolution: Assist in reviewing and answering payroll queries promptly and accurately.
Reconciliations: Conduct payroll and end-of-year reconciliations, including Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Sick Leave reconciliations.
Timekeeping: Ensure accurate timekeeping, costing, and adjustment of hours and rates.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within Australia.
Strong working knowledge of Australian Payroll tax and legislative requirements.
Familiarity with ADP systems is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Effective communication skills and strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.
Ability to comply with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., Superannuation guarantee, ATO, National Employment Standards, STP reporting).
