Senior Medical Social Worker
- 1.0WTE (35 hours)
- Indefinite Duration contract
- H.S.E. funded
- Based in Magheramore, Co. Wicklow
- Initially based in the Community Palliative Care Team
To provide a comprehensive social work service as part of a multi-disciplinary team, where the focus is on the psychosocial aspects of patient and family care, bereavement support and counselling.Essential Requirements:
- National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent
- Registration as a Social Worker with CORU
- Full driver licence
- Five years post qualification relevant experience
- Experience in the area of bereavement and loss
- Intermediate level IT skills
