Are you a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer with 5+ years experience on Pharma or Biotech projects?Would you be interested in working for a leading international EPCm consultancy based in Ireland?This is a long term contract role with some remote working options.If interested, please send your CV to sam@jobcontax.com or call Sam on +353-1-9696684 to discuss further..Senior Mechanical / HVAC Engineer – Multi Disciplinary Consultancy – IrelandJob DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland’s leading EPCm consultancies and a global player in the Semiconductor, Pharma and Biotech sectors with offices in Dublin and Cork.The successful candidate will report functionally to the Mechanical/HVAC Department Manager and on a project basis to the Lead Mechanical Engineer or Project Manager in accordance with the project structure.Independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers.Perform Mech/HVAC plant design work across several engineering disciplines in 2D/3D integrated design systems.Perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Mech/HVAC deliverables.Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and vendor bid evaluations.Assist in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets for projects.Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.Job RequirementsPharmaceutical experience preferable, large scale industrial, skill sets: wet and dry, calculations, specifications, detailing and sizing.Proficient in spreadsheets, problem solving and solution creation.Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector and mission critical systems.Engineering/ design experience in the Mech/HVAC systemsExperience with start-up and commissioning will be an advantage.Experience in equipment layout definition.Excellent English level – written and spoken,Knowledge of Mech/HVAC specific design standards (minimum UK/EU).Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.Experience using Navisworks is desirable.Primary degree in Building Services, Energy or Mechanical Engineering (Level 8) and either working towards or already gained chartered statusThe successful candidate will have proven experience of HVAC systems and utilities systems design in Pharmaceutical and/or Semiconductor industries in a lead capacity including:HVAC systems for cleanroomsSpecification of AHU’s and other specialist air handling equipmentChilled water and glycol systemsSteam systemsHot water systemsCooling water systemsCompressed air systemsSpecification of mechanical plant including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumpsRisk assessments, safety and constructability reviewsPreparation of tender and construction packagesPackageContract based position in Dublin / Cork.€55 – €65 Per Hour Rate negotiable depending on level of experienceContactSam Peter is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Mechanical Engineer and interested in roles based in Ireland you can contact Sam by e-mail at sam@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696684 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Mechanical Engineers in IrelandDue to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond directly to every individual
