We have partnered with a prestigious Sustainability, Energy, and Building Services Design consultancy, established in 2012 by industry-leading directors with extensive experience in multidisciplinary Engineering. They are looking to expand their London team by hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Sustainability and Energy consultancy role within the Built Environment. The company is well-known for delivering comprehensive support to its real estate clients and is committed to maintaining a flexible work environment.Join an expanding team of Engineers and collaborate with professionals across various disciplines on a wide array of projects both in the UK and internationally. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, designing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems for multiple projects, contributing to the conceptual design of Mechanical and Electrical services, and mentoring junior staff by reviewing their work. You will also serve as a technical liaison with the Sustainability and Energy teams, maintain and build upon existing client relationships, conduct site inspections related to M&E condition surveys, and participate in meetings with clients and design teams. Familiarity with life-cycle costing and value engineering is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have over 4 years of experience in a Sustainability and Energy consultancy role within the Built Environment.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a range of sectors, including Industrial & Logistics, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential. You’ll be entrusted with significant responsibility and autonomy. Experience in designing and performing calculations for projects that are referable to the GLA is expected, as the company frequently works on such projects.
