We are looking for aSenior Trade Marketing ManagerLocation: London (Hybrid) Reporting to: Head of Trade MarketingThe roleRightmove is the number one property website in the UK with 2.5 billion visits in a year and 65 million leads sent to our customers. We’re looking for a marketing superstar with 10+ years hands on experience in a senior B2B role to join our growing team.We’re a B2B specialist team within the Rightmove marketing team and we focus on a wide range of customers and segments, including: Estate and Lettings Agents, New Homes Developers, Commercial Property Agents, Overseas Agents and more.A day in the life…you’ll

  • Be focused on property professionals who purchase property advertising or data tools from us. Our customers shouldn’t be confused with our buyers, tenants, sellers and landlords who we call consumers.
  • Work collaboratively with our sales, product and commercial teams to deeply understand our customers’ needs. You’ll use that insight to build highly targeted strategies, value propositions and positioning, then, create, plan and execute the marketing roll-out and retention plan – you’re a thinker and do-er.
  • Developing brand initiatives and growth campaigns that will drive both tangible change in brand perception and engagement with our target audiences.
  • Creating campaign plans that inspire our sales team and drive commercial results.
  • Monitoring and analysing campaign performance, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Communicate key changes in the industry, the market, legislation and Rightmove’s services, with compelling calls to action.
  • Supporting our Events Team to manage, create and deliver webinars and events that speak to your target audience. You’ll help with propositions, collateral and the communications that keep customers coming back for more.
  • Work with our CRM Team to create and plan automated journeys across the full spectrum of the customer lifecycle to help our customers make the best of all the benefits of Rightmove.
  • Building out landing pages and creating destinations for customers to support your campaigns and generate leads.
  • Work with teams across marketing including: design, social, PR, consumer marketing, CRM and events to deliver on your brand strategies and plans including, planning across key platforms to optimise customer experience, engagement and retention.
  • Support, inspire and manage direct report(s) to ensure that we’re always delivering the best results and developing people so they can do great work. This involves everything from approving holidays and managing absences to conducting regular 1 to 1’s and quarterly “How’s It Going” sessions to monitor performance and development.

  • You can plan a project from end to end without breaking a sweat, easily dividing big goals into small steps and hitting deadlines.
  • Asking questions to uncover the true objective of projects to identify and deliver the right solution
  • Working with people at all levels and across all teams – especially Account Management and Product and Tech.
  • Combining the creative with the analytical – digging deep into data and research insights to tell compelling stories about products, packages and the property market (and even things that don’t start with the letter p.)
  • You’re a communications expert. You use simple language that shows you know what makes your customer segments tick.
  • Demonstrating the impact you’ve made by measuring results and reporting on the key metrics for your campaigns. You’ll know what success looks like before you even start.
  • Developing a strong understanding of our industry, customers, and competitors. Even if you’ve not worked in the property or data space before, you can’t wait to get stuck in.
  • Managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Briefing the design and CRM teams and working with them to make sure campaigns are effective and reach the right people at the right time.
