Visit or follow MMS on .Our MMS Team is looking to add an HR Leader to our Europe Team, who is based within the UK. We’re looking for someone at the Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level, based on experience. The main tasks this role will support include, but are not limited to:Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of Europe HR Legal regulations and stays abreast of Employment Law development and changes. Advises organization on policy changes related to Employment Law practices and trends.
- Lead for all Europe-specific HR Policies including drafting, upkeep, and enforcement.
- High level of proficiency in compensation planning and payroll practices, including running payroll. Able to conduct assessment of internal and external compensation equity and recommend adjustments, as needed. Suggests improvements to the process. Experience with ADP highly preferred.
- Has an in-depth understanding of employee benefits. Works with Benefits vendors to design benefits plans to ensure cost effectiveness, legal compliance, and employee engagement. Facilitates open enrollment process and implementation of employee benefits changes.
- Experienced with Employee Relations management. Ensures successful implementation of Employee Relations strategy to drive team engagement. Successfully resolves employee relations issues in accordance with the company policy and within legal compliance requirements. with legal counsel to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed. Works with members of other office locations to align employee relations strategies across locations.
- Provide high quality service to internal and external customers, is able to remain positive in challenging situations and sets example to more junior level colleagues.
- Proficient at organizing and maintaining HR records.
- Able to define project scope, develop project plans, budget, and lead HR project implementation to completion.
- Proficient at utilizing various modules and features of the Human Resources Information system to effectively manage personnel records.
- Stays abreast of external HR trends and legal requirements and able to translate these trends into internal application as they relate to HR Policies and SOPs.
- Expert at organizing individual projects and tasks to ensure on time task, project and goals completion. In a fast-paced environment, effectively manages priorities.
- As a member of the Global HR Leadership Team, helps identify Learning and Development needs and provides input in development of L&D Strategy and plans. Expert adult learning facilitator.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of full cycle of Talent Acquisition process. Alongside the Global TA lead, coordinates resourcing needs with the team, can advise on best sourcing strategies within the region and ensures recruitment and onboarding needs are met within required timeline and within defined costing structure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related experience.
- 5-12 years of experience in Human Resources (depending on level).
- Experience with ADP as an HRIS and/or payroll provider.
- Experience with benefit administration.
- Experience with employee relations.
- Extensive EU Employment Law knowledge.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, or similar industries.
