Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
Location: Artarmon
We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to share the story of Foxtel Group and its brands externally with key industry stakeholders and creatively embed our strategic narrative internally. In this key role, you will manage the delivery of our corporate affairs strategy that ignites passion & excitement for the Foxtel Group and aligns to our overall company strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, you will enhance Foxtel Group’s reputation by delivering clear, impactful messages to the right audiences through the right channels. You’ll collaborate with media, industry, and senior leaders, ensuring tailored communication for each group.
With strong cross-functional interaction and high visibility, you’ll drive innovative, multi-channel storytelling and strengthen relationships across the Foxtel Group and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications: Execute key communications activities to protect and enhance the Foxtel Group’s reputation across multiple audience groups internally and externally
Public & Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain key media relationships for effective reactive and proactive media relations
Government Relations: Support and manage key government communications programs
Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, providing high-quality service and ensuring interactions are seamless and effortless
Internal Communications: Design and deliver internal campaigns and events that align with business and strategic objectives
Company Profiling: Oversee award submissions and manage speaking opportunities for Foxtel Group
Event Planning: Organise and manage events according to the Corporate Communications calendar, including All-staff Town Halls, media programs, and industry events
Impact Measurement: Integrate measurement and evaluation into communications plans. Develop insights and outcomes each month to improve communication tactics and performance
Networking and EVP Amplification: Build and nurture alliances to foster collaboration. Develop and execute an amplification plan for our EVP and strategic narrative, engaging both current employees and potential talent
Communications Strategy: Implement the Group communications strategy, managing proactive announcements, reporting, storytelling opportunities, and key updates both internally and externally
Creative Thinking: Drive creative initiatives, rally stakeholders around new ideas, and execute strategies swiftly
Your experience
7+ years in communications, preferably in media and entertainment, with a strong track record of developing effective corporate communications strategies and campaigns for large organisations with complex audience groups
Media Management: Experience managing both reactive and proactive media opportunities
A natural collaborator who thinks creatively, works efficiently, and can influence senior leaders, colleagues and industry stakeholders
Quick to act and adapt in response to changing demands and environments, with a consultative approach to identifying and acting on opportunities
Proactively identifies and leverages opportunities across communications programs aligning internal and external activities
Outstanding communication skills written and verbal; with the ability to write, edit, and sub-edit various formats, including media releases, statements, and briefing documents
Ability to thrive in past paced environments, agile and easily adaptable to constant change and evolution
