If you are a driven and skilled young professional looking to take your career to the next level, we invite you to apply and be part of our growing team.Your impactAs a Senior M&A Consultant in the Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, you will typically work directly with clients and guide your team on projects in the domain of:Designing and implementing integration and/or carve-out projects, realizing the plans and benefits set forward during the transaction (defining day 1 and day 100 plans, realizing synergy potentials, setting up governance structures, defining target operating model, facilitating a successful integration or carve-out, ensuring milestones are achieved, connecting with subject matter experts of different substreams where needed, etc.). In this role, you are typically in contact with several other expert teams such as IT, Tax, Legal, HR, etc., making this a highly interesting experiencePre-deal, you will focus on the operational perspective during due diligence by rapidly identifying and analyzing key operational risks and opportunities (people, processes, contracts, assets, technologies), possible synergies and improvement potential, set up roadmaps for cost reduction, identify and quantify process and business improvements, analyze different options for potential carve-outs, etc. Often, these projects are in close collaboration with our colleagues focussing on the Financial Due Diligence (FDD). Your role is to independently tie the improvement opportunities together with a transparent and accurate financial impacts calculation.You will build trusted relationships and work hand-in-hand with clients to understand their business context, gather insights, and co-create value throughout the project.You will coach and mentor junior team members, helping them grow through on-the-job learning and constructive feedback.
- You will be supported by experienced managers who guide your development, help you navigate complex challenges, and ensure quality delivery for our clients.
About you
- You have a minimum of two years of relevant professional expertise (corporate or consultancy experience in integrations, separations or similar experience).
You have a master degree with outstanding academic recordYou are a team player, you have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of businessYou are strong in making impactful presentations in PPT and/or in other formatYou are comfortable with figures and you are able to make the link between financial elements and strategic elementsYou can make the link with other topics, such as ESG, IT, HR or supply chains.You possess excellent listening and communication skills, and can communicate clearly, persuade and influenceYou can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesYou want to be part of a team with high growth potentialYou have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliabilityYou are fluent in English and in Dutch and/or FrenchOffices: You will be based in our Brussels office and will execute work both at client site and in our office.Life at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
