Our West Yorkshire based client is a leading business specialising in supply chain solutions with a primary focus on the Far East region. With a strong reputation for reliability and innovation, we are looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator who can oversee the import and export function as well as ensuring compliance both UK and internationally.If you are a Senior Logistics Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of international logistics this could be the role for you.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods across the Far East.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners in the region.
  • Monitor and analyse shipping schedules, customs regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the Far East.
  • Optimise supply chain efficiency by identifying areas for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and geopolitical developments in the Far East to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on the Far East market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
