This position requires a Senior Legal Cashier who will be responsible for effectively managing all finance and cash handling operations within a professional services environment. The role is based in Hastings and requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of precision and a thorough understanding of cashier duties.

• Managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate record keeping
• Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Bank reconciliations and client account management
• Processing client and office accounting transactions including postings
• Dealing with residual balances and write offs
• Assisting with month end procedures and management reports

Immediately AvailableLegal Experience RequiredA successful SLC should have:

• A strong background in legal cashiering within a professional services environment
• Proficiency in the use of legal accounting software
• An understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive and professional approach to work
