Senior Hydrogeologist, Graduate Hydrogeolost, Flood Risk Consultant, Consultancy, COR5801An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and environmentally conscious individuals at all levels from Graduate to Senior! We’re seeking a talented Hydrogeologist / Flood Risk Consultant to join my client, based-in Shrewsbury. The successful Hydrogeologist / Flood Risk Consultant will have a sound knowledge of wider environmental issues with knowledge gained either from a degree or through prior commercial experience – ideally with experience working within a consultancy.The successful Hydrogeologist / Flood Risk Consultant will have a sound knowledge of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements.As the successful candidate within this role, you will be required to undergo adhoc UK travel – though this will be compensated. As such, the successful candidate will be required to have a full-clean driving licence.The Company

What’s requiredTo be successful within this position, the Hydrogeologist / Flood Risk Consultant will have the following skills:
- A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree ideally with prior commercial experience at the senior level within a similar Hydrogeology role. Any consultancy experience will be highly advantageous
- A sound grasp of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements with prior experience of analytical methods of quantifying groundwater flow
- Any further experience using GIS Software, as well as experience of groundwater modelling packages would be highly advantageous
