Please note that this is a remote position located in Chico-Redding, CA & the surrounding areas. Local travel will be required.
Your Role:
As a Senior Homeowner Claims Field Examiner, you will obtain and record required loss information from the insured. Under close supervision, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle homeowners’ property/personal property claims, including adjustment to conclusion; involves low- to higher-complexity claims that typically require physical inspection. You will be the owning adjuster for all claims assigned at the Field Examiner level. In this role, you will be expected to progress to the competency level of a Level 5 Homeowner Adjuster. May be required to assign, coordinate, and oversee independent adjuster assignments.

The national average hourly pay range for this position is $38.86 – $43.18. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full hourly rate range for this position across all the states we hire in is $35.01 – $51.88. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.

Required

Ability to acquire DOI adjusting license in the states where required

Knowledge of homeowner policies and procedures
Knowledge of Xactimate repair estimating system
Knowledge of home construction
Education / Experience
Required
High School (HS) or GED
4-8 years claims experience with preferred emphasis on homeowner claims
Preferred
Bachelor Degree or combination on education and experience
