This role offers the opportunity to drive HSE standards at a key manufacturing and assembly site in Northampton, becoming part of an organisation with a vast global footprint.Responsibilities of the Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site, supporting staff at all levels with practical advice
- Engaging across the site to drive improvements in quality, safety, health and environment
- Auditing health, safety and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
- Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies
The successful Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing site or heavy industry
- NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
- Great communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
- Drive for leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
