Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our graphic design initiatives, taking a hands-on approach in the initial stages and gradually building and leading a team of 10+ designers. Your work will be critical in designing impactful visuals that resonate with our customers and enhance our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Creation: Develop and design high-quality flyers and other marketing materials for our customers, ensuring each design is tailored to specific industries, sub-industries, and use cases.
  • Team Leadership: Start as a hands-on designer and gradually transition into a leadership role, where you will recruit, manage, and mentor a team of graphic designers to support Oppizi’s rapid growth.
  • Metadata Management: Incorporate and manage metadata on each design to ensure consistency and relevance across various campaigns.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with internal customers and eventually engage with external clients, delivering perfect written communication to understand and fulfill their design needs.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and stock image platforms (e.g., Shutterstock) to create visually compelling designs that meet project requirements.
  • Process Development: Establish and refine the processes within the graphic design department to optimize efficiency and output.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with a background in an agency setting.
  • Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver creative and effective designs across various mediums. This portfolio will be a key component of the recruitment process.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing design teams. While the initial phase will be hands-on, the role will quickly evolve into a leadership position.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and familiarity with stock image platforms.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time. You should be comfortable managing 3-5 different projects per week.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  • Time Delivery: Adherence to project timelines and the ability to deliver multiple design projects each week.
  • Team Building: Successfully recruiting and onboarding a team of designers within the first few months.
  • Client Satisfaction: Maintaining high levels of satisfaction among internal and external clients through quality design work and clear communication.
