Location:KilkennyType:PermCategory:AccountingSalary:€40000 – €66000Senior Fund Accountant – KilkennyI’m hiring for an experienced Fund Accountant to join a leading financial services provider in Kilkenny. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with real assets experience, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail to work on a diverse portfolio of funds.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fund Accounting & Reporting – Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a complex range of funds and structures
- Client Interaction – Liaise with clients and intermediaries, handling investor queries and audit requests
- Compliance & Controls – Ensure accurate records, prepare tax returns, and support regulatory requirements
- Team Mentorship – Guide junior staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team
What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong focus on real assets
- Studying towards ACCA/ACA (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong financial services knowledge and a high level of computer literacy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
