Senior Full-Stack Enginer

Overview

Centrifuge is a fast growing DeFi project with the big mission to bring real-world finance and DeFi together, unlocking economic opportunity for all. We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our growing team.

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of all of our user facing applications. Your responsibilities will include a broad range of areas: UI/UX development, building and updating our SDK, integrating EVM contracts, and supporting the product with your expertise in web technologies.

This is an exciting, multifaceted position that demands creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and a technical understanding of EVM blockchains.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality TypeScript for our app (app.centrifuge.io), SDK and other projects.
• Review teammates code and provide meaningful feedback leveraging modern best practices and trends in EVM-based application development.
• Bring financially and technically challenging products to crypto-experts and novices alike.
• Improve Ul/UX of our frontends, working closely with the product team.
• Interact with various EVM contracts (we’re using viem) to architect features and improvements enabled by advances in our protocol.
• Prioritize security, scalability, testing and ease of deployment for our end-users.
• Occasionally working with other services like Subquery (blockchain indexer), onboarding provider, GitHub Actions, data pipelines, and Node.js/TypeScript based APIs.
• Drive projects from inception to release by owning deliverables and collaborating with your teammates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience working with TypeScript and 3+ of experience with React.
• Being at the forefront of fast-moving codebases is exciting to you and you are comfortable working in flat hierarchies under agile development and quickly changing requirements.
• Willing to work in an open source environment
• Strong, proven computer science or computer engineering background.
• Track record of high quality, well-crafted code that has been used in production environments.
• Desire to dive deep into Web3/Crypto and keep up with modern best practices in software development, and shape our tech stack as we build out new systems and services.
