Our client is an SME who are expanding. As a result of business growth, they now require a Senior Accountant to manage the day to day finance operations and a small finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress to a managerial position.Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly accounting process.
• Responsible for producing the monthly/quarterly board pack & presentation to the board.
• Manage the annual statutory audit process and be the point of contact for the external auditors.
• Responsible for reviewing tax accounting.
• Budget, Forecasting & Planning analysis and management.
• Cash flow management on a weekly & monthly basis.
• Relationship management with banking institutions and external funding sources.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Responsibility for the overall Human Resource function of the business with oversight of company payroll function.
• Manage internal processes and IT systems.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the CFO.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
• 3-5 years post qualification experience in an SME, ideally in the property/construction sector
• Good general knowledge of all aspects of a finance function.
• Previous experience managing staff with the ability to motivate & delegate work accordingly.
• Highly proficient IT skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive and self-starting.
• Fluent English is essential along with excellent communication skills.
