The Senior Commercial Finance Manager plays a vital role in shaping the financial and operational strategies that drive P&G’s success in ANZ Markets. Your team

This role reports to the Finance Director and works closely with the Sales/ Marketing/ Supply Chain leaders.

How success looks like

• Ability to integrate the brand strategy, pricing, consumer positioning and profitability to recommend solutions to identify and deliver business growth opportunities.

• Seen as the trusted advisor to evaluate business issues, anticipant questions and demonstrate excellent analytical skills to optimize investment or handle risk

• Providing mentorship to junior finance members in the group and guide them in the finance leadership track

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive execution of financial strategies to support commercial objectives, ensuring alignment with P&G’s global business goals. Lead the long-term planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes while identifying growth opportunities and risks.

• Operational Excellence: Lead efforts to optimize business processes, drive efficiency in day-to-day operations, and enhance the scalability of financial and commercial functions across markets.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted business partner to Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Sales teams, aligning financial and operational plans to support business priorities and enhance profitability.

• Data-Driven Insights: Harness advanced analytics to provide actionable insights, guiding decision-making and influencing strategies to drive both short-term and long-term financial success.

• Team Development: Mentor a team of dedicated finance professionals. Foster an environment that encourages innovation, growth, and collaboration, while maintaining P&G’s high standards of integrity and performance.

• Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure financial and operational risks are identified, mitigated, and monitored through robust processes. Uphold P&G’s commitment to corporate governance and compliance at all levels of the business.

Job Qualifications

• Min Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.

• 4-9 years of experience within Commercial Finance roles

• A proven track record of success, ideally within commercial finance, strategy, and operations, preferably in a global consumer goods or similar fast-paced environment.

• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operational execution.

• Exceptional business sense and understanding of market dynamics, financial modelling, and analytics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

• Experience in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact on business performance.

• Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing top talent.
