Senior Finance Accounts Officer (AP/AR)

Location: Artarmon

We are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Accounts Officer who will be the engine of financial operations – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and banking transactions. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, this role will be key in ensuring the integrity and timeliness of the delivery of Finance Operations across transactions for the Foxtel Group.

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing and approving weekly accounts payable payment files

• Assist with accounts payable cash forecasting as required

• Review and approve daily customer refunds

• Responsible for the follow-up on overdue accounts and managing debt recovery processes

• Assist with auditing of expenses and travel as required

• Assist with administration of payroll processes under the supervision of the payroll manager

• Support process improvement projects as required to ensure operational efficiency

Your experience

• 4+ years’ similar experience, ideally in a large corporate organisation

• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactional procedures

• ERP and Expense Management systems experience, experience managing multiple systems highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple task functions simultaneously

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing organisation, managing competing priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
