In this role you’ll be supporting the delivery of key public policy objectives, particularly in relation to regulatory and government policy development, in key operational areas in Brussels and the European Union.Leading on policy development in key easyJet markets and working on EU policy, and where necessary supporting UK policy development.Working with internal teams to develop easyJet’s positions on government/EU policy issues to ensure they support business objectives, in particular working closely with our Markets, Communications and Operations teams.Developing evidence to support easyJet’s positions and objectives.Carrying out financial modelling where appropriatePresenting easyJet’s policy views to EU officials and national government officials.Drafting papers setting out easyJet positions on EU/government policy and responding to consultations.Support with identifying any impact on easyJet’s operations as a result of emerging legislation and engage with government officials to address.Working closely with our trade associations in Brussels to ensure that their priorities and objectives reflect easyJet’s (including being easyJet’s representative on several association working groups)Identifying opportunities for easyJet to pro-actively influence government policy and legislative reform in Brussels and across key markets in Europe and the UK to support easyJet’s objectivesEnsuring easyJet teams are aware of any risks from potential changes to government policy.Represent easyJet and its policies when engaging with key aviation regulatorsDue to the nature of the role, there will need to be some flexibility for travel within the UK and the EUQualificationsWhat you’ll bring to the teamA strong interest in / passion for EU Government & policyExcellent drafting skillsComfortable building internal and external relations at all levels of seniority.Ability to work in teams across an organisationUnderstanding of commercial imperatives that drive a business such as easyJetStrong analytical skillsA self starter comfortable with independent workingExperience in aviation (be that airline, airport, aviation suppliers or authorities) would be an advantage.What we offer in return

Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.About easyJet
