Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services ConsultancyOffice/Project Location: North DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: €70k – €90k per yearExperience: 8+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy providing design, fire safety and technical services to a range of sectors including; Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Residential, Government & Commercial build.In this role, you will oversee the entire Electrical Services engineering process, superviseintermediate engineering design staff, and manage project workflow programs to ensuretimely project delivery.Maintain records and files of all completed engineering workSupervision of Intermediate engineering design staffManage project workflow programManaging of project stakeholdersDesign review and approval of all designsReview and approval of all on-site installationAttendance and recording of any project-specific/design meetingsManagement of on-site contractorsCompletion of Site surveys and reportsProvide engineering support to Resident Engineers and senior design staffSupport ad-hoc activities assigned by senior staff from time to timeYou will be part of decision-making processes with regard to all elements of ElectricalDesignYou will be exposed to all stages of the design and construction processRequirementsCandidate must possess a degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experienceExcellent knowledge of all current industry standards and regulationsGood IT skills and familiarity with industry-specific software (AutoCAD/REVIT etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAn eye for detailStrong Communication skillsExcellent people and time management skillsThe ability to work well as a team and on your ownPackageSalary €70k – €89k depending on experienceFull time Permanent Position based in DublinHybrid Working options and flexible working hours21 days annual leave per annumCompany-provided smartphone and laptopOpportunities for professional development and trainingMembership of relevant industry institutes/professional bodiesContactSam Peter is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Fire Engineer interested in roles based in North Dublin, you can contact Sam by e-mail at or phone +353-1-9696684 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Fire Engineers in North Dublin.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.tagMEP
