Senior Demand Planner in North Richmond, Australia

Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Senior Demand Planner at Smurfit Westrock in North Richmond, NSW. You will report directly to our ANZ Supply Chain Leader. This role sits within a team of 7 but is a standalone as a Demand Planner.

The principal purpose of this position is to effectively facilitate, interpret and manage the demand planning of the WestRock ANZ business as well as provide demand information for Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The Senior Demand Planner is the owner of the demand planning system and its effectiveness in driving accurate and robust forecasts. The position involves a range of administrative, data collation, data analysis, and reporting activities that result in the construction of a consensus rolling 12-24 months Sales Plan Australia/NZ, the provision of which feeds the IBP, and the presentation of this information on a monthly basis.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting skills

• Analytical Skills and ability to package data into meaningful insights

• Strong Communication skills, both internally and externally

• Knowledge in S&OP management is highly regarded but not essential

• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

• Advanced excel knowledge
