Main Purpose:

  • Play a key role managing the Nordic Sales and Operations Planning process, ensuring high standards of forecast accuracy and alignment with the financial planning process. Responsible for Demand Planning, Weekly forecasting, Supply risk evaluation and stock management.

  • Liaise and collaborate with Nordic Management team, Business Excellence Managers, Order Entry functions and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient business operations, deliver accurate reporting, robust analytics for business decision making and support planning activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Demand Planning:

  • Own and develop the demand plan for ADC Nordics BGM business and ensure external market factors and internal supply related factors are accounted for and integrated in demand plans.

  • Support and challenge ADC Nordics commercial organization in the forecasting process for CGM business.

  • Ensure forecast is based on solid and relevant demand analytics and changes in demand is broken down to causality drivers and properly reflected through CDR/LBE process.

  • Ensure external market conditions and internal supply related factors are properly reflected and integrated into the CGM forecast model.

  • Support Commercial organization with product launches. Challenge and support Nordic BEXes in developing forecasts for new products, according to timelines defined in CLD.

  • Identify and highlight exceptions to the forecasts through the weekly forecast process, providing root cause explanations for key drivers of forecast variance versus applicable benchmarks (CDR/LBE). Liaise with BEX and Order entry to receive appropriate input and communicate/intervene in a speedy and constructive way to minimise business risks.

  • Support ADC Nordic Commercial organization in the monthly CDR process:

  • Ensuring sales unit forecast & financial forecast is accurately reflected and variances vs. relevant benchmarks are explained.

  • Manage and monitor Demand Planning metrics and dashboards. Monitor the forecast accuracy KPI`s and ensure adherence to defined targets.

  • Ensure that systems used for demand / supply planning (SAP IBP & Dodeca) are accurately and timely updated with most relevant demand plan.

Supply and Inventory Management:

  • Provide Risk analysis based on Demand and Supply information to Management team on a periodic basis. Alert in case of any potential issues, leading to supply shortages.

  • Ensure product supply to different channels is balanced, to ensure appropriate stock levels per channel.

  • Own and initiate the product allocation process in Nordics:

  • Coordinate the product allocation for your portfolio in case of supply limitation.

  • Communicate agreed allocation plan to the internal stakeholders.

  • Provide support to ensure logistical solutions for emergency deliveries.

  • Responsible for gathering information on inventory levels of ADC products at distributors, wholesalers and customers and ensuring that there is a healthy DOH of ADC products in the market.

  • Responsible to ensure control over ADC inventory, write offs, and product destruction, when required.

  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

Sales Accounting

  • In cooperation with Nordic finance team, review H56 as provided by Genpact and ensure monthly sales data is correctly reflected. Ensure any corrections are booked according to policies and customer agreements (RevRec, discounts, rebates, manual invoices, corrections of any errors in bookings).

  • Analyse Sales variances vs relevant benchmarks and provide commentary to Region and Management Team.

  • Reconcile and control related Balance Sheet accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3-5 years of relevant progressive experience,

  • Background in finance, supply chain management or analytics with experience from of change management or operational excellence initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience from statistical forecasting and the ability to use analysis in an operational context to support ADC team in decision making processes.

  • Experience from key analytical tools for forecasting, financial analysis and inventory planning.

  • Experience and acumen in driving business critical processes, such as, but not limited to Demand Reviews, New Product Introduction processes, Inventory and Supply chain management, pricing model analysis.

  • Organization and Planning skills, ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.

  • Self-motivated, takes own initiatives and enjoys being the centre of a team.

  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and collaborate with other team members in order to foster and reinforce the positive, value-driven team spirit and entrepreneurial culture within the company. Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all other departments and personnel.

  • Fluency in English

  • Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially Excel, & PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI and Dodeca is desirable.
