The person will have 5 + years’ experience as a credit controller and is looking for their next move. We are looking for a solution orientated individual with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers. Ideally qualified or part qualified accountant, It is a full time role and there is room to grow in the company.Credit Controller Position outline of duties:
Collection of existing/legacy overdue receivables through contact with customers, both business and domestic, directly via telephone and written correspondence.
Be responsible for the full credit control function for a portfolio of clients, working closely with the sales teams and customers to ensure timely payments
Proactively chasing customers to improve cash collection.
Maintaining records/notes on collection activities, including but not limited to logging ongoing account/customer issues and working on resolutions where necessary.
Maintenance of sales order credit release procedures for all depots.
Provide accurate advice on accounts queries in terms of pricing and credit.
Advising the Accounts department regarding the allocation of payments in accordance with customer remittances & any other such details provided to you while corresponding with customers.
Preparing monthly reports for all depots and management.
Calculating and processing of credit notes.
Scheduling and holding of monthly meetings with depot managers and sales representatives to discuss debt collection and price management.
Identifying areas of further analysis in terms of price and the ability to drill down to possible causes and solutionsSalary and Benefits:
