We are looking for an engaging individual to join the retail Marketing team as our new Senior Community Engagement Manager. Working closely with the Group Marketing Managers, you will support the portfolio wide community engagement strategy and execute this across a portfolio of shopping centres across Australia. You will nurture our flagship Community partnerships, support local teams to create authentic community relationships, and investigate new opportunities.

The Opportunity:

  • Support the Centre marketing teams to deliver the portfolio wide community engagement strategy

  • Be the lead on flagship national community programs to increase connections and drive social impact outcomes

  • Provide support and guidance to the Centre teams to better leverage partnership opportunities locally

  • Lead all national community campaigns

  • Identify retail portfolio community engagement opportunities

  • Support the Centre teams to foster positive local community connections and ensure that community is influencing decision making

  • Work alongside and in partnership with our key stakeholders to grow and enhance community relationships.

About you:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or experience in a related field

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques

  • Proven track record in designing and executing community engagement strategies that yield measurable positive outcomes.

  • Experience communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, with proven success in fostering positive relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead effective consultation, negotiation and collaboration

  • Community Engagement Qualification such as IAP2 certification would be highly regarded

  • Knowledge of the shopping centre or retail industry would be an advantage

  • Willingness to travel is required.
